• scrape the site or bulk-download its content without asking us first
• republish large chunks of our writing without credit and a link
• use the site to break the law
• try to overload, damage or break into our systems
• pretend to be us, or imply we endorse you

The WorldCurio name, design and the articles and guides we wrote are ours. Please ask before reusing them. Flags, photographs and map or country data come from third parties and stay under their own licences. If you send us feedback or a suggestion, you are fine with us using it to improve the site, and we do not owe you anything for it.

We try to keep things correct and up to date, but borders, prices, visa rules and opening times change, and we will sometimes be behind. Treat the site as a starting point.

Emergency numbers and safety information are here for general reference. Check them against an official source before you travel, and in a real emergency call local services directly.

Nothing here is professional advice. That covers travel, medical, legal and safety questions. Check your government's official travel advice and the embassy of the country you are visiting before you make decisions.

We run ads from third-party networks to pay for the site. They are separate from our writing, and we do not endorse what they promote. Some links, mainly flight and booking sites, are affiliate links. If you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. What we write is not influenced by that.

We link to other websites when it helps you. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful code.

To the extent the law allows, WorldCurio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability for anything arising from it is capped at USD 100.

Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Otherwise, disputes are handled under the law of the place where the site's operator is based.
